Welcome to AT&T's Project ENRICH this  tabs.gif (1771 bytes)

AT&T ENRICH is a partnership between AT&T, the Illinois State Board of Education, the Chicago Public Schools and the Chicago Catholic Schools.

Two goals of the project are to train high school biology teachers to:

  • develop biology curriculum that integrates technology and engaged learning,
  • improve leadership skills so they can serve as models and change agents

During the summer of 2000, 24 biology teachers from Chicago Catholic and Public high schools, worked together to review, edit, re-write and test approximately 85 lessons that integrate biology, technology and engaged learning. These lessons were developed over the past two years by teachers from both school systems working in teams and independently.

During the past two school years, teachers used  these lessons in their classroom and have provided feedback to the team of 24 who will select the best 75-100 of these lessons for further testing during the 2000-01 school year and eventual publication for teacher use across the USA.

Teachers interested in testing some of these lessons during the upcoming school year should contact Program Manager, Angelo Militello at amilitello@cps.csc.k12.il.us
