Class Schedule for Lesson 11

1. Work on small group project. Each team will be responsible for the development of an instructional packet to suit the needs of a specific group of students, covering at least 4 lessons. Collaborative planning time will be included in the class sessions. One write-up of your team's packet must be submitted with the final presentation during the our last 2 class sessions. Team members will receive individual grades based on an evaluation by the instructor as well as their team members. In addition, each team member will receive a composite grade based on a n evaluation of its oral and written project. There should be one lesson plan for every participant. Lessons must be targeted to at least one of the main subject areas (e.g. Language Arts, Science, Math, Social Studies, etc.). The unit of 4-5 lessons should incorporate at least 2 content areas (e.g. Science, Math). The unit should include a cover page with the names of all the participants. Individual lessons do not need to be   labeled with author's name. The lessons should follow one major theme and be constructed in such a way that a novice should be able to pick up the instructional packet and duplicate the lesson.  All lessons must incorporate the use of the Internet and any other technology. The instructional packet must include a description of the student population, detailed lesson plan, materials, Internet sites, and method of evaluation.
